January 2010 [BREAKTHROUGH]
Every January, we offer a number of ways for you to begin the year with BREAKTHROUGH in your spiritual lives.
> At the beginning of the month, we launch into our annual spiritual emphasis -- WEEK OF PRAYER AND FASTING. We will have nightly services designed to help us begin the new year with powerful times in God's Presence.
> Each Wednesday throughout January, we have Worship Nites. These gatherings are also intended to focus our church family upon the priority of seeking God first [Matt 6:33] - so we take the first month of the year and make Christ's Presence our priority.
> We offer our Spiritual Breakthrough Weekend every January as well. You can sign up HERE.
February 2010 [CONNECTION]
Our Small Groups will start again through our Group Nite gatherings. Young Adults meet Tuesdays at 7pm and the rest of the family meets on Wednesdays at 7pm -- all at the APC Campus. Don't miss your chance to CONNECT with others through these small group bible study communities.
March 2010 [INVITATION]
Throughout the months of March & April we will launch into our next Invitation Series. For SIX WEEKS in a row, we'll have some great opportunities to INVITE a friend, neighbor or family member to our ROADBLOCKS message series. Some highlights include:
> March 20/21: The APC Choir will lead us in worship and minister with songs along the theme of Christ's Resurrection from the dead.
> March 27/28: We'll host our annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year will be the largest in our history! You don't want to miss this.
> April 17/18: Black & Gold Weekend: Penguins Edition. Food, fun and a special time to hang out in the Concourse.
April 2010 [BREAKTHROUGH]
Christians all over the world, from various denominations, take some steps to focus on their spiritual lives as we journey toward Easter. It is common to 'give something up for lent' in order to recognize the self-denial and sacrificial life of Christ.
Let's view Easter [April 3/4] as a springboard to build CONSISTENCY in our spiritual lives. We are encouraging you to focus on BREAKTHROUGH in your personal lives and in your devotional habits.

May 2010 [CONNECTION]
During the month of May, our FOCUS will shift back to CONNECTING through our Group Nite gatherings. Young Adults meet Tuesdays at 7pm and the rest of the family meets on Wednesdays at 7pm -- all at the APC Campus. Don't miss your chance to CONNECT with others through these small group bible study communities.
The Small Groups at Allison Park Church will also launch into our annual Community Care Day. We have found over the years that one of the most effective ways to reach someone with the love of Jesus is to simply as the question "Can I serve you?"
This is a simple way to share our faith by our actions. Finding ways to show the love of God by active service, with no strings attached--is a powerful way to act our faith. All of our small groups will be mobilized to serve in the South Side of Pittsburgh with LifeStone Church.
June 2010 [ACTION]
Kids Outreach Month will be our June FOCUS. We will need as many people as possible to make Kidz Kaboom a success.
All of our games, stories, skits, video clips, songs and puppets are done with one goal in mind -- to lead kids one step closer to Jesus Chris. Check out the Kidz Kaboom website for more info.

The FOCUS for this month will be Church Planting Month as we partner with Jack Thomas to plant LifeStone Church in SouthSide.
Many of the Small Groups of Allison Park Church will serve and reach out to various pockets of the SouthSide community.
CityReach is back again for another amazing week of ministry in the month of August. We'll need a ton of adults to serve in our various church plant communities on a nightly basis throughout the week. Check out the CityReach website for details on the youth camp that will take place at the APC Campus.

Every November, the church family at APC focuses all of our services, energy, resources and prayer towards the needs of the world around us through our Generations Missions Campaign. Throughout the month of December we will launch into our next Invitation Series. You can participate by asking a friend or family member to attend one of the many services we offer this holiday season. The APC Choir and the CrossTown Kids will sing on two separate weekends before Christmas.
